We have received great support from the medical professionals in the San Antonio area. However, our needs are great and we are always seeking qualified medical professionals to help us continue our mission.
All medical positions require credentialing, a completed application and a criminal background check. If you are interested in becoming a FFC volunteer, simply complete and return a volunteer application. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to arrange an interview and a tour of our facility. If training is required, you will be advised when the next session will be held. All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
If you want to volunteer, please download this Volunteer Application along with the required Criminal Background Authorization and return it to us or email volunteer@faithfamilyclinic.org
LEGAL LIABILITY AND MEDICAL MALPRACTICE CONCERNS
We also understand the concern of many medical providers concerning their legal liability. The Volunteer Protection Act of 1997 addresses this issue and all patients at Faith Family Clinic are required to sign the Consent To Treatment by Volunteer Medical Providers as required by this important legislation. This information comes directly from the Texas Medical Association website.
