Is MemberCare Insurance?
No. We work for our patients to provide direct medical care. Your monthly fee pays for all in-clinic primary and preventive medical care. Faith Family Clinic does NOT bill any insurance carrier for our services, and MemberCare monthly fees are not reimbursable by any health insurance company, and may NOT be applied to any insurance plan deductible.
Can I have MemberCare AND Insurance?
MemberCare is our direct medical care for people without traditional insurance. However, we encourage you to obtain a "major medical" or catastrophic/hospital type policy with a higher deductible for emergencies and major medical concerns. You can talk to any insurance carrier about these type of plans. We believe that MemberCare and a "major medical" type policy is a great solution to your healthcare needs.
